Today, we have the privilege of hosting Dr. Maria C. R. Harrington, an information scientist and Associate Professor of Digital Media at the University of Central Florida. Dr. Harrington is at the forefront of exploring the convergence of natural aesthetics and digital realms, spearheading intriguing projects that bridge the gap between virtual and real-world environments. She was the recipient of Epic Game’s Mega Grant, and her multidisciplinary approach sheds light on how modern technology can be harnessed to not only understand but also appreciate the beauty and significance of our natural world.
